Interior designer turned serial entrepreneur, Maureen is a proud Lakewood resident who’s constantly inspired by the amazing community she’s come to know since starting her first creative business 12 years ago.
In 2016, Maureen brought Cleveland movers & makers together by curating a holiday pop-up shop called Home for the Holidays. The community response was incredible, and after the success of season three, she couldn’t shake the desire to contribute more to her community.
Maureen decided to bring her interior design background together with her love of hosting & gathering with people, and from that, The CoLab was born. The CoLab has since grown into Cleveland’s premier collection of boutique event venues, with even more exciting growth on the horizon.
Beyond her businesses, Maureen is the proud parent of two fab kiddos who fuel her love of coffee and new adventures. You can find her cheering on her sons' baseball & soccer teams, sampling local craft beer and exploring all that the greater Cleveland area has to offer.

Meet the Team
Emily grew up in Avon Lake and now calls Lakewood home after earning her degree in marketing and management from the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. She works with Destination Cleveland’s Convention Sales and Services team and also brings her expertise to coordinating unforgettable events for you. When she’s off the clock, she tackles her list of next reads, finds her zen in yoga, keeps pace with her running shoes, and satisfies her wanderlust by traveling to new and exciting destinations whenever possible.
On-Site Event Coordinator
Emily Brambrick
Ruby is an experienced event coordinator with over 2 years of expertise in assisting and orchestrating memorable occasions. From weddings to birthday extravaganzas, Ruby has lent her expertise to a myriad of celebrations, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed. Beyond her event prowess, Ruby also thrives as a social media and business assistant, all while pursuing her college education.
On-Site Event Coordinator

Shannon truly loves social media & the connection to the community it provides. Shannon is also a wife and busy mom to two, raising her family on the west side of Cleveland. She loves all this city has to offer, from taking trips to the zoo to enjoying the beach at Edgewater Park, rooting for Cleveland sports teams, and sipping cocktails at all the hot spots around the city.
